Elise wanted to get her hair cut before school started (she got her kindergarten shots yesterday, along with shots for Anja and Katia). A haircut may not seem like a big deal, but it is at our house as the girls don't get their hair cut very often (mainly because dad likes it long). It's been two years since Elise has had her hair cut. As we drove to the appointment this morning, the conversation began with getting it cut quite short. By the time we arrived for the appointment, she decided to just get a trim. She still ended up getting 3 plus inches off.
