Every year, my sister Mel takes her children out individually for a fun day before school starts. I have always loved that idea and thought I would try to do it with my own children. I decided to start when they enter kindergarten, so this year I planned for a day out for Mela and one for Elise. They decided they wanted to do theirs together and since they each picked the same thing to do (go to the mall and miniature golfing), it made it easy for me. (We'll see if I'm able to keep this up when all 5 are in school!) So, we did a little school shopping, hit the mall (their favorite spot is the play area), and then finished with a game of miniature golf and a few jumps on the jumping pillow at Yogi Bear Camp Ground.
