For the last couple of summers we have set aside a day to just play in the parks here in town. Luverne has a number of pocket parks, so this past Friday we packed our water bottles, snacks and spent the day playing in the park(s). I think we counted eight that we visited over the course of the day. Katia especially gravitated to the slides. The highlight was probably visiting the playhouse in the backyard of our family physician. We were told the kids could come anytime to play in it. It is a completely furnished playhouse. They enjoyed the costumes the most!
