We just finished a series of evening hikes at the local Schoeneman's Park. The weather was perfect on each outing. Our instructor was great and made each hike very educational and interesting. We learned about Canadian geese (they weren't out on the first night, but we did observe them on the last night), insects in and out of the water and the monarch life cycle. (I think mom learned more than the kids did!)
