A Night Out

Griffen took this picture of us last night before we left for the Annual Firemen's Banquet. This is Mike's 17th year on the Fire Department. Below is a poem they had on our table:

THE LITTLE FIREMAN

I want to be a fireman like my dad

I'll always try to do what's right

And stand against things bad

I watch my daddy all the time

So I can be like him

I want to be brave as he

When facing dangers grim

He goes where others fear to go

And helps each one in need

it doesn't matter who it is

For that's a fireman's creed

Someday I'll stand up big and tall

And also pass the test

There's nothing else I want to be

For firemen are the best
