Elise came home from school today and said there had been discussion in her classroom about the arrival of baby ducks and chicks at the local hardware store. Although it seemed quite early for this and Mike said they were usually picked up and gone within a few hours, we called and were told they were there and had been for a week. So, we loaded the suburban after lunch today and went right down to see the baby ducks and chicks.
