Well, the plan was to have a mini-family vacation over this 4-day weekend (two school days off for the Minnesota Education Association's Conference). We had planned to bring the four-wheeler along to ride the trails in Northern Minnesota. What happened was Mike ended up staying home with Katia and Elise. He felt uncomfortable leaving as a close family friend had recently been placed in hospice care. So, over the weekend the unexpected opportunity presented itself to have a bit more demolition done to the house. Thankfully, Mike and Elise had it all cleaned up by the time we came back on Saturday as we were host to our youth group Sunday night for supper and an activity.
